Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: October 2, 2026

STrOp is built for the people who run a job — in the office, in the truck, and on the deck. That includes people who work by keyboard, use a screen reader, or need more contrast than a sunny jobsite gives them. This statement covers the STrOp application at app.stropapp.tech. STrOp is in Beta, and we say below exactly what isn’t done yet.

1. The Standard We Build To

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We have not had a third-party audit, and we don’t claim full conformance today.

2. How We Check It

  • Every change is linted for accessibility. An automated check runs on every code change and blocks it if a form field has no label, a clickable element can’t be reached by keyboard, or similar problems are introduced.
  • Core screens are audited in a real browser. The pipeline, project, timecard and settings screens are tested with an automated WCAG checker and by tabbing through every control to confirm it can be reached and shows where focus is. The last pass was October 2026.
  • This site is checked too. Every page of stropapp.tech passes an automated WCAG 2.1 AA check, including color contrast, as of October 2026.
  • Fields say what they are. Form fields are connected to their labels, so a screen reader announces the field name when you reach it.
  • Mouse not required. Clickable rows, column headers and upload areas take Enter and Space the same as a click, and every focused control shows a visible outline.

3. What Isn’t There Yet

  • Some orange text is below AA contrast. Parts of the app use our brand orange for small text and button labels at about 3:1, short of the 4.5:1 AA asks for. We are moving that text to a darker shade that passes.
  • Drag to reorder is mouse-only. Reordering submittals and estimate lines by dragging has no keyboard equivalent yet.
  • Chart tooltips are hover-only. The numbers they show also appear in the table beside the chart.
  • Screen-reader coverage is partial. We have not yet tested every workflow with every major screen reader.

4. Tell Us What’s in Your Way

If something in STrOp stops you or your crew from getting the work done, email [email protected] with the screen you were on and what happened. We read every message. If your agency needs an Accessibility Conformance Report for a procurement, ask us there too.
